Beetroot, carrot and apple juice


This is a great juice to have in the morning if you have slightly overindulged, feel a little lethargic and need a natural detox boost. This juice helps to flush out excess water and reduce bloating, and to top it all off, it's pink! Beetroot is packed full of nutrients, that are especially effective when drunk as a juice. Carrots are a natural detoxifier, helping to boost the function of the liver and kidneys. Pick firm, small to medium beetroots as they taste a little sweeter than the larger ones.

Ingredients

3 small/medium firm beetroot, halved

2 granny smith apples, halved

4 carrots, halved

1/2 lemon

Directions

Juice alternate chunks of beetroot, apple and carrot, adding the lemon half way through.

Drink straight away.
